At age 74, Ellen Millar thought her life was over. Her physical problems had stolen her energy, her mobility, and her quality of life. Then she took her first yoga class.
At age 78, Ellen is now a yoga teacher instructing other students in “The Wonder of Yoga,” the name of her new business. She currently teaches at the Fitchburg Senior Center and in the fall will be adding a class at Perennial Yoga and Meditation Studio in Fitchburg, WI. Also, she travels around in her “yoga-mobile” to area senior facilities sharing the practice that turned her life around and changed her perspective on aging.

Joan Bloodworth says
I’m fortunate to be blest with good health at age 83, so when my darling daughter asked me to try yoga, I said I was already busy with fun stuff. After awhile, she asked me to promise to at least try a class. It turned out Ellen’s enthusiasm and gentle persuasian with Easy Yoga was indeed refreshing in mind, body and spirit! We’re not getting older — just better. 🙂
